Starting out with one client in Kitchener, ON we have increased to over 100 clients ranging in size from 4 to 4000 employees. To further our bandwidth, we also increased our offerings to service clients throughout Canada, USA, Mexico and South America.

Stephen Patterson
Managing Director
As Managing Director Stephen brings more than 20 years of experience and knowledge to the RMG team. He began his career within the public sector serving as a corrections officer, special constable and then as a rescue medic. From the various positions within the public sector Stephen had found his true passion of Workplace Safety. After completing his last project as a medic Stephen ventured into the private sector where he became a Regional Manager of Health and Safety with a large industrial company. Within this role he oversaw both the Canadian and US operations with over 1400 employees. After several years within this role Stephen decided to take the leap and embrace his entrepreneurial spirit to become an independent consultant. In 2008 Darkhaven Consulting Services was created to later become Raven Management Group. Stephen continues to play an active role with the RMG consultant team as the Senior Safety, OHS Consultant and Trainer.
Devin Patterson

Devin has been part of RMG’s safety team since 2005. Backed with more than a decade of experience working within construction Devin is well versed with a variety of construction and industrial settings. Working on major projects throughout Ontario, Devin is able to bring not only experience but safety solutions that make sense. He is certified in WHMIS, Confined Space Watch, Lock-out/ Tag-Out, Fall Arrest/ Working at Heights, Confined Space Awareness/ Attendant, Mobile Equipment, Chemical Safety, Standard first aid & CPR/AED, CSAO Basics of Supervision Program, WSIB Certified Worker Representative.
Sophie Cranley
Manager, Workplace Safety and Risk Mitigation
Sophie has been with Raven Management Group since 2019. Starting as a Manager of Workplace Safety she transitioned into the firm’s General Manager in 2021.
She comes with several years of unique experience within start-ups and large corporate entities. She began her career with a successful start up company specializing in remote security solutions within construction. In this position she spearheaded the investigations team and assisted in the guidance of monitoring staff and operations. From there she moved on to become a National Manager with a global corporate security firm. Within this role she was instrumental in guiding organizations through labour disputes, investigations, and security as a consultant. In her current position as a General Manager, she has oversight over the firm’s day- to day activities while consulting on several accounts for Human Resources and Security related services.
Jessica Aird, CET, M.Eng
Senior Safety Consultant
Jessica is an accomplished Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional with over 20 years of experience. Her expertise spans regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and safety management in both corporate and consulting environments.
Jessica has a decade of EHS experience in the water treatment and chemical industries, managing contractor compliance, conducting training, and performing audits to maintain ISO and regulatory standards. She is proficient with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 documentation and has a strong track record in maintaining safety in manufacturing and consulting settings.
Jessica excels at identifying and mitigating safety risks, conducting worksite audits, and implementing corrective measures. She develops and maintains safety metrics and reports, ensuring continuous safety improvements. As a seasoned trainer, she creates and delivers safety and environmental training sessions and oversees contractor compliance and risk assessments.
In her current role as an EHS Consultant, Jessica provides technical guidance, shapes safety culture, manages WSIB claims, and conducts incident investigations. She holds an M.Eng in Environmental Engineering and a B.Sc. in Environment, and a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology, underscoring her commitment and technical qualifications in the field of environmental health and safety.
Melisa Bosy, BASc
Occupational Health and Safety Professional
Melisa Bosy is an Occupational Health and Safety Professional with experience in safety inspections and accident investigations, conducting assessments and ensuring compliance with industry regulations in the engineering and manufacturing industry. She is passionate about keeping workers safe and this has been a constant drive throughout her career so far. She is determined to dedicate herself to proper planning and suitable control measures so that workers can go home safe to their families every day. In her current role as a Health and Safety Consultant, Melisa conducts safety inspections and audits, and guides third party contractors to ensure safe work procedures and practices. She holds a BASc in Occupational Health and Safety, equipping her with the foundational knowledge of health and safety and the technical skills required to hold an intermediate role in the Health and Safety department.
