This training program will teach you about all the legislations and policies and procedures according to the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act).  In January of 2012, the legislation was put in place with all the requirements set out aby the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act). The program is designed to explain the purpose and scope of the act, the responsibility of organizations and people on the AODA act.

Who is Affected by AODA?

There is legislation in place that requires all organizations and business owners to establish policies and procedures to assist persons with disabilities.  They are further expected to create procedures for all employees to follow when they are dealing with the public and to develop modes of communication when assisting persons with disabilities.
